1. 📌 Why We Record

We use cameras inside our vehicles to help ensure the safety of both passers and drivers. Recordings may be used to:

Prevent or respond to inappropriate behavior
Investigate compilers or incidents
Protect people and property

2. 🔍 What Is Being Recorded

Video: The interior of the vehicle / if Tesla also outside
Audio (only if applicable): Conversations during the trip
Location & Time: The date, time, and route of your trip may also be linked to recordings.

We do not record your personal devices or passwords, and we do not use facial recognition.

3. 🛡️ Your Privacy Rights

We respect your privacy. That's why:

Footage is securely stored and not shared unlimited required for a safety issue.
Recordings are automatically deleted after 72 hours Unless needed for an ongoing investigation.
You have the right to:
- Know if you were recorded
- Request access to recordings showing you
- Request deletion, unless required to keep by law or for safety purposes

4. 🔔 How You're Informed

You shall see signs in the vehicle and/or receive an in-app notice informing you that recording is active.

By entering the vehicle, you accept that recording may take place for safety purposes.

5. ⚖️ Legal Base

Recording is done under the legal basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), specifically to enhance passenger and driver safety.

We take your privacy seriously and comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Dutch privacy laws (GDPR).

6. 📁 How Long Do We Keep Recordings?

Footage is automatically deleted after 24 hours, until there is a continuation of a serious incident.
If an incident is reported, we may retain relevant footage until the matter is resolved, and then securely delete it.

7. ❌ Can I Refuse to Be Recorded?

You may choose opt out if you don't wish to be recorded. Once you enter the vehicle, you accept the terms of this safety policy.

Prevent or react to inappropriate behaviour
To investigate complaints or incidents
Protecting individuals and property

2. 🔍 What's being recorded?

Video: The interior of the vehicle with 1 camera (also the outdoor environment with 8 camera frames at Tesla)
Audio: Conversations during the journey
Location & Time: The date, time and route of your trip can be linked to the recordings

We do not record personal devices or passwords and do not use facial recognition.

3. 🛡️ Your privacy rights

We respect your privacy. Therefore:

Recordings are stored safely and not shared unless necessary due to a security problem
Recordings are automatically deleted after 72 hours, unless they are necessary for an ongoing investigation
Do you have the right to:
- To know if you've been admitted.
- To request access to recordings on which you are visible, (driver may obstruct himself if you request admission)
- Request deletion, unless the recording is to be kept legally or for security reasons

4. 🔔 How you are informed

You will see signs in the vehicle and/or receive a notification in the app that recording is active.

Door in te stappen, ga je akkoord met mogelijke opname ten behoeve van de veiligheid.

5. ⚖️ Juridische grondslag

Opname vindt plaats op basis van het gerechtvaardigd belang (Artikel 6(1)(f) AVG), met als doel het verbeteren van de veiligheid van passagiers en chauffeurs.

We nemen je privacy serieus en handelen in overeenstemming met de Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG).

6. 📁 Hoe lang bewaren we opnames?

Opnames worden automatisch verwijderd na 72 uur, tenzij er een melding is van een ernstig incident
Bij een incident kunnen relevante beelden worden bewaard tot de zaak is afgehandeld, waarna ze veilig worden verwijderd

7. ❌ Kan ik weigeren opgenomen te worden?

Je kunt ervoor kiezen niet gefilmd te worden als je een reden heeft.

Zodra je instapt, ga je akkoord met deze veiligheidsvoorwaarden.
